Private Property Impounds
Guidelines
To ensure compliance with state regulations, the following guidelines apply for all private property impounds:
- Contract Requirement
A contract must be completed between the property owner/lessee and Lance Wrecker Service. Contracts are valid for one year and must be renewed annually.
- Signage
Private property tow-away signs must be clearly visible at each entrance to the property or posted directly in front of each parking space.
- Authorization for Towing
The individual listed on the contract must be present to sign the Lance Wrecker Service invoice and specify which vehicle(s) are to be towed.
